Common Ground (fællesgrønt)
In 2012 there was an acorn of an idea to start a communally run organic garden here at Duemosegaard. Ross Jackson and his wife, Hildur had the vision to create this project using biodynamic gardening principles devised by Rudolf Steiner.
Hildur sadly passed away in 2015, but her idea has flourished into a beautiful tribute to her. Nowadays the rich soil can grow enough fruit and vegetables to support 25 families.
These families are all members of the fællesgrønt and each and every one of us plants, reap, enriches, and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of our spare time spent working with our hands in the humus, side by side growing the most flavourful organic produce imaginable.
