Intuitive Dance and Yoga at Duemosegaard

At the start of December, in conjunction with yoga teacher Ele Boriani, we made a seasonal gift to our friends and held our first yoga event at Duemosegaard. The stunning corner room with views across frozen fields, and the wood-burning stove casting an orange glow over us all on a dark winter’s day was memorable in itself. Couple that with some perfectly attuned yoga in this place filled with inspiration such as the Gaia Trust, ideas on how to build regenerative communities, bio-dynamic gardening, and supporting the arts and it’s clear that we’re tapping onto something really good here!

Ele offered us a deep dive into stretching and relaxing our winter bodies and souls, we looked towards the firelight and candlelight and kindled our own flames within. She warmed us up, helped us let go of blocks, aches, and worries, and then set us free to move the body in a purely pleasurable intuitive dance. None of us felt inhibited, it was a party with world music with lovely people in a nurturing place.

We’ll be offering this yoga class to the wider public once a month, beginning in February. For more information about Ele and her craft, here’s her website
